Nora and Jack agree to keep things casual while Jenna is away, but their temporary roommates-with-benefits situation quickly gets complicated.
* The morning after sleeping together for the first time, Jack takes a hungover and guilt-ridden Nora to his favorite bodega to get breakfast.
* Sitting together in Washington Square Park, they talk things through. Nora admits she feels like she’s betraying Jenna.
* Jack argues that she’s overthinking it and proposes a temporary roommates-with-benefits arrangement.
* Their new arrangement quickly turns into spending nearly all of their free time together, talking for hours, ordering takeout, and watching each other’s favorite movies and TV shows.
* Nora encourages Jack to spend more time with his coworkers outside of the office, so when his boss invites him to drinks at The Frick, Jack invites Nora to come along.
* At the Frick, Nora is completely in her element and blows everyone away with her art history knowledge.
* Later in the evening, Jack returns with champagne and sees Nora deep in conversation with his coworker Peter. He assumes they’re flirting, and gets jealous.
* Jack finally admits he’s sick of all the rules and confesses that his feelings for Nora are real, leading to a passionate hookup.
