* Back in his hotel room, James begins documenting everything he's learned so far.
* He's interrupted when a hotel staff member delivers dry cleaning meant for Delia. Inside the garment bag, James discovers a bloodstained shirt embroidered with Mark's initials.
* James finds Mark nursing a hangover at the hotel bar. Questioning him about the missing shirt and the blood, James deduces that Gregory has cut Mark off financially and accuses him of blackmailing his father.
* Delia arrives, prompting Mark to storm off. James turns his attention to her, but she refuses to answer his questions and tells him to speak to her lawyer.
* James returns to the Barclay villa, only to find it empty. Outside, Rosalind is relaxing by the pool, and James helps apply sunscreen to her back.
* Inside the villa, James sprays luminol around the great room and discovers traces of blood on a vase. Moments later, he and Rosalind overhear Tom and Mark arguing outside.
* Hiding in the garden, James and Rosalind eavesdrop on the confrontation and realize Mark knew nothing about the blackmail.
* James and Rosalind follow Tom by Vespa and funicular to a mountainside restaurant, where an expensive bottle of wine finally loosens his tongue. Tom admits he's been blackmailing Gregory and reveals that Gregory left on a ferry that morning.
* On the journey back down the mountain, James and Rosalind open up about their pasts, and James finally kisses her. That night, James and Rosalind finally give in to their attraction on the villa's terrace.
* The moment is interrupted by a ringing phone somewhere inside the house. Following the sound, James discovers a hidden safe containing Gregory's will. A voicemail reveals the biggest clue yet: Gregory never left Lake Como and plans to board the last ferry that night.
