Henry and Tess head to Mexico for a very unconventional honeymoon.

* Henry sits on a plane to Mexico next to a sleeping Tess, replaying how he ended up as the accidental groom substitute on his childhood best friend’s honeymoon.
* He flashes back through their twenty-year friendship, recalling how he fell for Tess before burying his feelings when she started dating football star Rob.
* He remembers how, just weeks before graduation, Tess’s dad died, and he watched as she put her dreams on hold to stay close to home.
* Ten years later, Henry stepped up as Tess’s man of honor for her wedding to Rob. When Rob abruptly called off the wedding days before the ceremony, Henry convinced Tess not to cancel the honeymoon and agreed to join her in Mexico.
* Back in the present, they toast to “trying something new,” and Tess reveals a bucket list of adventures she never got to experience while building her life around Rob.
* At the hotel, they awkwardly discover their honeymoon suite decked out for newlyweds. As they settle into vacation mode in the private hot tub, Henry begins seeing Tess in a new light.
* Tess admits Rob is the only person she’s ever slept with and Henry’s growing attraction becomes increasingly difficult to ignore. Tess asks Henry to kiss her for “practice,” but things quickly turn passionate, and Henry pulls away.
